About This Project

HINTERGRUND:

Wir wollen eine neue Welt erschaffen. Das ist unser Ziel und Anspruch aber auch unser Selbstverständnis als Kollektiv (NAT). Wir erkennen in diesem Projekt eine Möglichkeit der Entfaltung. Wir sehen diese leeren Räume vor uns und sind uns ihrer Geschichte bewusst. Vielleicht ist es gerade deshalb wichtig einen so konsequenten Schnitt zu machen.

KONZEPT:

Der Techno-Floor und der Showcase-Floor sind verbunden. Das wollen wir nutzen. Uns geht es um Formen und Kontraste. Wir wollen eine Welt erschaffen, die atmosphärisch zusammenhängt aber klar zu trennen ist. Unsere Welt ist aus Formen gebaut. Sie ist insofern monoton und düster und kalt, erwacht aber durch Licht und Farben zum Leben. Unsere Formen sind Hexagone, unsere Kontraste das Licht und die Farben. Unsere Welt hängt zusammen und ist doch getrennt und verändert sich. Sie ist aber begreifbar, weil sie schlüssig und logisch ist.

PRODUKTION UND ANORDNUNG:

Die Hexagone unterscheiden sich grundsätzlich in ihrer Herstellung, die nach ihrer Bedingtheit und ihrem Platz im Raum variiert. Klar zu trennen sind Hexagone, die von der Decke hängen und den Hexagonen die aus dem Boden wachsen. Erstere werden aus Kappa, Lightboard, Plexi und Styropor, Letztere aus Holz gefertigt. Diese Hexagone bilden in einer modularen Bauweise eine neue Welt und können sich dadurch ständig verändern.

BACKGROUND:
We want to create a new world. This is our goal and our claim, but also our self-image as a collective (NAT). We recognize in this project a possibility of development. We see these empty spaces in front of us and are aware of their history. Perhaps this is why it is so important to make such a consistent cut.

CONCEPT:
The techno floor and the showcase floor are connected. That’s what we want to use. We are interested in forms and contrasts. We want to create a world that is atmospherically connected but clearly separable. Our world is built from forms. It is monotonous and dark and cold, but comes to life through light and colours. Our forms are hexagons, our contrasts are light and colours. Our world is connected and yet separated and changing. But it is comprehensible because it is conclusive and logical.

PRODUCTION AND ARRANGEMENT:
The hexagons differ fundamentally in their production, which varies according to their conditionality and their place in space. The hexagons that hang from the ceiling and the hexagons that grow out of the floor are clearly separable. The former are made of Kappa, Lightboard, Plexi and Styrofoam, the latter of wood. These hexagons form a new world in a modular construction and can therefore constantly change.
