About This Project

HINTERGRUND:

Der Entwurf ist während meines Erasmus Semesters an der Politeccnico di Milano entstanden. Der gesamte Entwurfsprozess erfolgte in Zusammenarbeit mit den Studierenden Beatrice Citterio, Lucia Galiotto und Roman Fenske.

SATELLIGHT:

Die gefrästen und ausrichtbaren Aluminium-Flügel, können je nach Rotationsgrad unterschiedliche Lichteffekte erzeugen. Das Licht wird bei völliger Schließung fokussiert und je nach Öffnungsgrad mit unterschiedlicher Streuung abgegeben. Satellight kann an verschiedene Situationen angepasst werden, dank des Bajonettsystems, welches auf vier spezielle Zubehörteile optimiert ist und die Leuchte somit zu einer Tisch/Floor-, Pendel-, Steh- oder Wandlampe wird.

BACKGROUND:

The design was created during my Erasmus semester at the Politecnico di Milano. The entire design process took place in collaboration with the students Beatrice Citterio, Lucia Galiotto and Roman Fenske.

SATELLIGHT:

The milled and adjustable aluminium wings can produce different light effects depending on the degree of rotation. When completely closed, the light is focused and emitted with different scattering depending on the degree of opening. Satellight can be adapted to different situations thanks to the bayonet system, which is optimised for four special accessories, turning the luminaire into a table/floor, pendant, floor or wall lamp.
